Enjoy a free visit to Fernbank, including our special exhibit Spiders – From Fear to Fascination before it closes on May 5, meet a member of the Fernbank field trip team to learn more about field trip opportunities and catch a film in the Giant Screen Theater.

Field Trip Information | 11 a.m. — 1 p.m., Great Hall
Meet a member of Fernbank’s Field Trip Team and learn about 2024-25 field trip offerings, including immersive field trip programs.
Spiders — From Fear to Fascination|10 a.m. — 5 p.m. | Lower Level
Don’t miss your chance to see live and preserved spiders, as well as fun interactive elements, like learning about the spider family tree, watching projected spiders crawl on your body, performing a peacock spider mating dance and more.
Museum Explorations | 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.
Enjoy access to all indoor and outdoor museum experiences and exhibits including Fernbank Forest and WildWoods, which currently features the special exhibit Flora, Fauna & Flight.
Giant Screen Theater| Lower Level
Travel to different places through a movie in the Giant Screen Theater. Superhuman Body: World of Medical Marvels 3D and The Artic: Our Last Great Wilderness 3D are shown on a first-come, first-served basis. Check out the showtimes before you visit.
Cost: This event is free for educators.** Space is limited and advanced online reservations are required. Limit 1 complimentary ticket per educator.
Bring a guest and receive $5 off museum admission.** Discount guest tickets are available through online reservations only.
