From the world’s largest dinosaurs to Atlanta’s biggest IMAX® screen, experience a world of adventure! Hands-on exhibits, live animals, archaeological artifacts and other fun experiences make science come alive for all ages. Coming soon, Explore nature in WildWoods, Fernbank’s new outdoor experience featuring trails, elevated tree pods, hands-on exhibitions and immersive opportunities. The Museum will open Fernbank Forest for self-guided tours this fall.

The Museum and IMAX® Theatre are open Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm; Saturday, 10am to 5pm and Sunday, noon to 5pm. Extended hours are available Fridays (except holiday weekends) during Martinis & IMAX®. The Museum is open 363 days a year, closing Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
A variety of ticket options are available including Museum-only, IMAX®-only, combination tickets and discounted group tickets. Members receive free Museum admission and discounted IMAX® tickets.
Fernbank Museum is conveniently located east of Midtown, near Emory University at the corner of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Clifton Road. Free on-site parking is available.
