STEAM Lab
Fernbank’s STEAM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) is the museum’s new hub for learning. Educational program offerings will connect scientific concepts with the arts and humanities to provide an engaging, hands-on learning environment designed to encourage visitors to think innovatively, take risks and exercise their imaginations.

*The STEAM lab is currently open to the public on weekends, school holidays and for select programs during the week. The lab is located in the Naturalist Center, adjacent to the Fantastic Forces exhibition, on the 3rd Floor.
Fernbank is a nonprofit natural history museum, giant screen theater and old-growth forest, and is not affiliated with Fernbank Science Center, which operates as a division of DeKalb County Schools.
