2026 Winter Break Camp

You’re invited to explore a world of science and nature with Fernbank’s Winter Break Camps for ages 5-10. Enroll your camper into a world of STEAM fun! Under the guidance of Fernbank educators, campers will perform experiments, play games and more.

Camp Dates: December 21-24, 2026 & December 28-30

Hours: Fernbank’s Winter Break Camp runs Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Extended Care: Extended care is available as early as 8:15 a.m. and as late as 5:30 p.m. each week. Extended care is $40 for the week. Single-day extended care rates are not available.

Registration: Registration opens on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 12 p.m. EST.

Cost: $260 for members; $300 for non-members.

Camper Age Requirements: All campers must be at least 5 years of age by the time of their camp session to attend Fernbank Winter Break Camp.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: All registrations include a $50 non-refundable fee. Cancellations made prior to December 4, 2026 will receive a partial refund; the $50 non-refundable fee will not be returned.  After December 4, 2026, no refunds will be issued.

If minimum enrollment is not met, we reserve the right to cancel a camp session and issue a full refund.

Partial refunds will not be issued for missed camp days.

Content and Activities:

Each camp day has a theme for all games, activities, and experiments. This camp’s themes are:

• Summer in Winter
• Winter Holidays
• Safari Animals

Themes may not be presented in this order and are subject to change without notice.
