David Rogers’ Big Bugs

On view April 27 – July 21, 2019

Bugs, insects and spiders help our world in big ways. Some are pollinators that help plants reproduce. Others are decomposers, serving as nature’s clean-up crew to break down dead plants and animals and return nutrients to the soil. And still others are nature’s exterminators, helping with pest control by eating other species.

David Rogers’ Big Bugs calls attention to some of nature’s smallest and most incredible creatures. These larger-than-life sculptures combine landscape art, recycled art and environmental art to showcase the often unseen animals that play important roles in our ecosystem.
