Five Ways to Enjoy Fall at Fernbank

  1. Leaf Watching Look for bright yellow hickory and tulip-poplar leaves, along with red black gum and maple leaves.
  2. Take Notice Listen closely, many migratory songbirds are passing through the forest on their fall migration routes. You might also hear the rustle of squirrels and chipmunks preparing for winter.
  3. New Views As leaves drop, dramatic views begin to open in both WildWoods and Fernbank Forest.
  4. Guided Experiences Enjoy a guided tour for a more in-depth experience. (See below for details.)
  5. All-weather Fun WildWoods and Fernbank Forest are open year-round—rain or shine—so there’s always something NEW to discover.
