Fernbank’s STEAM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) is the museum’s new hub for learning. Educational program offerings will connect scientific concepts with the arts and humanities to provide an engaging, hands-on learning environment designed to encourage visitors to think innovatively, take risks and exercise their imaginations.
The STEAM lab is currently open to the public on weekends, school holidays and for select programs during the week. Beginning temporarily on Feb. 9, the STEAM Lab will only be accessible through Fantastic Forces (on the back left of the space) while we work on opening the new Orkin Discovery Zone next door.
