Guests will have access to all exhibits during this January event, including our special experience, WildWoods: AGLOW. The Giant Screen Theater will also be showing Fungi: Web of Life. 

Along with the exhibits, several activities will be available for guests to observe and get hands-on with. Some activities to look forward to are our annual New Year's resolution board, building lemon batteries that get your energy flowing, turning manpower into electrical power by creating a spark with the 1880s Wimhurst machine, and exploring color-changing fire chemistry. 

An eclectic and passionate vocalist, Ansley Stewart ,will provide live music throughout the night.

If you can't attend this month's Fernbank After Dark, we have provided a cocktail and mocktail recipe you can try at home so you can join us in spirit.

Peach Drop Cocktail:

Ingredients:

2oz DoMA Peach Flavored Vodka

0.5oz Lime Juice

0.5oz Grenadine

Club Soda

Pour the peach vodka into a glass with ice, followed by lime juice, and top with club soda. Add a splash of grenadine and enjoy!

Pomegranate Sunrise Mocktail:

Ingredients:

1.5oz Orange Juice

1.5oz sparkling water or non-alcoholic sparkling wine

1oz Pomegranate Syrup

First, add pomegranate syrup to the bottom of the champagne flute. Then pour in the orange juice and sparkling water/non-alcoholic sparkling wine and garnish with an orange slice. Cheers!
