Fernbank’s fall line-up is stomping in, starting this weekend!. As Atlanta’s science and nature experience, Fernbank has it all this fall. Gather your herd and plan your visit now!

From the jumbo-sized world of Elephants, to a cultural celebration of holiday traditions; from a trip around the world on the giant screen to the beauty of nature and dazzling display of autumn colors, Fernbank is here to make you fall in love with fall.

Limited Time Exhibits

The Secret World of Elephants
Special Exhibit | Oct. 10, 2016 – Jan. 3, 2027
Discover the hidden lives of Earth’s largest land animals in this exhibition that reveals the biology, behavior and impact of these iconic giants.

Flora, Fauna & Flight
Special Outdoor Exhibit | On view in WildWoods through Nov. 1
A variety of colorful and photo-inspiring sculptures of birds, bees, dragonflies, butterflies, dandelions, cattails, flying fish, bats and more highlight the native flora and fauna of our region while showcasing their ability to fly or glide.

Winter Wonderland & 68 Voices
Special Seasonal Exhibits | Nov. 21, 2026 - Jan. 12, 2027
Celebrate cultures and traditions from around the world in this seasonal exhibit that features decorated trees and other displays in Winter Wonderland and marvel at 68 Voices, an artistic series, narrated in 68 Mexican indigenous languages, that highlights the cultural treasures and heritage behind the tales of an indigenous community rich in traditions that celebrate diversity.

Fernbank After Dark
Second Friday of Every Month | 7 - 11 p.m. | Ages 21+
Each month features a fresh science theme with immersive, hands-on programming designed to spark curiosity and fuel conversation, proving learning pairs perfectly with a drink in hand.

Fright Night
Friday, Oct. 30, 2026 | 7 - 11 p.m. | Ages 21+
Dance beneath the towering prehistoric predators to a spook-tacular live DJ set provided by AMP'd Entertainment, with special performers and costume prizes!

Giant Screen Theater

Travel the world through the Giant Screen Theater and use your Fernbank ticket as your passport for adventure! One Giant Screen film is included with General Admission (subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis). Check out what's playing now.
