Best Dressed: Extinction Party Style Roundup

On March 7, Fernbank threw an Extinction Party to celebrate the final weeks of A Walk Through Time in Georgia, the beloved permanent exhibit that has taken guests on a journey through deep time since 1992. Guests, members, and generations of families accepted the invitation to dress for the occasion.

Spotted: Lots of dinosaur enthusiasts and devoted fans of the exhibit came together to take a nostalgic walk through time in style.

The Looks We Loved

The dress code was casual. The commitment was anything but. Guests of all ages arrived in their finest dinosaur gear — T-shirts, button-downs, a dino-print dress, a cozy sweater, and more than a few Jurassic Park tributes that would have made John Hammond proud.
There was even one sharp-eyed guest who showed up repping the fossils representing our Planet Ice exhibit — a crossover moment we absolutely loved.
Check out some of our favorite looks from the day—our not-so-official “BEST DRESSED”

Thanks for the BEST Paleo Party!

To everyone who came dressed, came curious, and helped us send off this exhibit — thank you. You made it a day worth remembering. And as many of you said, it’s hard to say farewell, but we’re all excited for what’s next!
