Bean Sprouts brings NEW Food Options to Fernbank!

Fernbank is excited to announce a new partnership with Bean Sprouts, a nationally recognized café brand known for its fresh, wholesome, and family-friendly menu offerings. Bean Sprouts has replaced the Fernbank Café, offering a reimagined dining experience that opens on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026. 

Founded with a focus on making healthy food fun, Bean Sprouts operates cafés in cultural destinations across the country, including museums, zoos and science centers. As winner of Allertrain’s Best Food Allergy Innovation Award, the company is celebrated for its creativity in creating offerings that appeal to both kids and adults, while emphasizing nutritious ingredients and playful presentation. The Bean Sprouts menu includes a variety of artisan sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, fresh bowls, smoothies, and an organic espresso bar. For younger visitors, the award-winning Imaginibbles® kids’ menu turns mealtime into an adventure with favorites like Spaceadilla (a wholesome chicken and cheese quesadilla) blasting off with veggie flames. 

Bean Sprouts’ approach goes beyond food, incorporating engaging food names, interactive elements, and a welcoming environment designed to complement the hands-on learning happening throughout the museum. Bean Sprouts will offer discounts for staff, volunteers and members, while presenting value-forward pricing with high-quality ingredients. Bean Sprouts will also provide field trip and birthday party catering in addition to after-hours service for “Museum Nights” events.

Check out Bean Sprouts, open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day, on the 1st Floor of the museum. Additional snacks and drinks can also be purchased in the Museum Store on the 2nd Floor, near the front entrance.

Please note: Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Museum, WildWoods, or Fernbank Forest. If you wish to bring your own food, we welcome to enjoy it on Dinosaur Plaza or have a picnic-style meal on the front entrance lawn. Please do not sit on the front steps.
