Spring is in full swing at Fernbank this April and the best way to dispel those lingering winter blues is taking a walk in WildWoods and Fernbank Forest. As you explore our elevated walkways, be sure to experience Flight of Butterflies — our latest outdoor exhibit that blends nature, art, and storytelling through a display of 25 striking butterfly sculptures. Each sculpture captures the artists’ connection with nature and is the perfect way to welcome in the new season. Perfect for Easter weekend or Earth Day celebrations!

Horses have arrived at our Giant Screen Theater stable! Saddle up and wrangle your herd together to watch our newest theatrical arrival, Horse Power. Trot along with narrator Josh Brolin as you explore all things equine. We invite you to gallop on in; one Giant Screen film is included with General Admission.

The days are longer and the nights are alive this spring at Fernbank. Our calendar has late night activities blooming all month long. Science gets spirited at Fernbank After Dark: Booze & Botanicals on April 10. Cultivate your love of nature with specialty cocktails and curated activities that'll leaf you saying, "Wow!" Then boogie through time at Adult Prom on April 17, where we’re going Back to the Future with the party of the decade. There's no need to spike the punch bowl, though—themed cocktails, craft beer, wine, and light bites are available for purchase at this 21+ event.
