Payment Guidelines
A 50% deposit is required for ALL reservations and is due at least two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date. If you are making reservations less than two weeks prior to your visit, the deposit will be due immediately to hold the reservation. The amount of your deposit will be applied to the total amount due, and the remaining balance will be due upon arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and checks (made payable to Fernbank Museum of Natural History). A confirmation letter will be mailed approximately one week after your reservation has been made.
Cancellations
If you are unable to make your scheduled trip, please call our Group Scheduling Department at 404.929.6320 as soon as possible. Your deposit is fully refundable provided the trip is cancelled at least one week in advance. Trips cancelled less than one week from the scheduled arrival date are subject to forfeiture of deposit.
Time
Please allow approximately 1½ – 2 hours to tour the Museum. IMAX® films are approximately 45 minutes long. If you are seeing an IMAX® film as part of your trip, we recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to your film start time in order to park and pick up tickets before the film begins.
