From the world’s largest dinosaurs to Atlanta’s biggest IMAX® screen, experience a world of adventure! Hands-on exhibits, live animals, archaeological artifacts and other fun experiences make science come alive for all ages. Opening to the public September 24, WildWoods and Fernbank Forest will combine to highlight the natural world through immersive trails, educational programming, hands-on exhibits, and beautiful scenery.

Special Extended Hours: Fernbank Museum will be open 9am – 5pm every day (including Sundays) from September 24 – October 30. This includes all exhibitions, WildWoods and Fernbank Forest. Additional IMAX® show times will be offered at 10am and 11am on Sundays. Beginning October 31, we'll resume normal operating hours of Monday - through Friday, 10am to 5pm; Saturday, 10am to 5pm and Sunday, noon to 5pm.
The Museum is open 363 days a year, closing Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
A variety of ticket options are available including Museum-only, IMAX®-only, combination tickets and discounted group tickets. Members receive free Museum admission and discounted IMAX® tickets.
Fernbank Museum is conveniently located east of Midtown, near Emory University at the corner of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Clifton Road. Free on-site parking is available.
