Children's and Family Programs
FERNBANK FOREST BIRD WALK
Saturday, May 18 from 8am-10:30am
Join an Atlanta Audubon Society volunteer and discover more about the feathered inhabitants of Fernbank Forest, both permanent residents and visitors. This program is excellent for beginning birders or those desiring gentle terrain.

Thursday, June 6 from 10am – 3pm
This high-energy event has goal kicking drills, 3-point challenges, and tons of other fun activities that encourage kids to test their skills with their friends.

SUPERHERO DAY
Saturday, June 16 from noon – 4pm
Is your dad a SUPER dad? Is he your ultimate HERO? Then join us for a day of super fun celebrating our hero dads. Come dressed as your favorite superhero and enjoy games, hands-on activities, costumed characters and more.

STORYTELLING
Offered at noon on the second Saturday of each month, September-May
Join us in Fernbank NatureQuest for exciting tales about the natural world with Rob Cleveland, Fernbank's storyteller-in-residence. This program is suitable for children ages 3 and up.
Weekends in the Naturalist Center

Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities every weekend in the Naturalist Center. Activities vary from animal encounters to science explorations and more, and will be available every weekend. Check the activity sign when you arrive to see what's happening. Included with Museum admission. Free for members.

Bring out your wild side—eat, drink and dance your tail off at Fernbank's annual fundraiser, Lost Oasis. Join Fernbank's Artemis Guild of Young Professionals for a wild night of fun featuring live music, open bars and more.

Salsa DANCE Night
Every 3rd Friday during Martinis & IMAX® from 6:30pm – 11pm
Monthly Salsa Dance Nights bring Salsambo Dance Studio to Martinis & IMAX®, offering incredible opportunities to enjoy Latin dancing (or appreciating the dance skills of others) with early-evening lessons for those who want a little practice before they heat up the dance floor.
