DANGEROUSLY DELICIOUS TASTING EVENTS

Sunday, February 22, March 29 and April 26 from noon to 3pm
Featuring local vendors, these tasting events will showcase the tasty thrills of death-defying samples, all made with a “poisonous” ingredient that is safe to eat. VIP entrance for Museum members at 11:30am.

FERNBANK FOREST night walk

Friday, May 8 from 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Experience Fernbank Forest like never before. List for owl and frog calls, search for bats, find organisms that glow under UV light, and much more. This program is suitable for ages 8 and up.

FERNBANK FOREST BIRD WALK

Saturday, May 23 from 8:30am – 11am
Join an Atlanta Audubon Society volunteer and discover more about the feathered inhabitants of Fernbank Forest, both permanent residents and visitors. This program is excellent for beginning birders or those desiring gentle terrain.

TADPOLE TALES

Offered monthly on select weekends
This monthly program features a story and a special activity or song led by a Fernbank educator. Perfect for preschoolers. Dates and topics change monthly. Please refer to the Calendar of Events for specific listings.

STORYTELLING

Offered at noon on the second Saturday of each month, September-May
Join us in Fernbank NatureQuest for exciting tales about the natural world with Rob Cleveland, Fernbank's storyteller-in-residence. This program is suitable for children ages 3 and up.

Weekends in the Naturalist Center

Ongoing
Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities every weekend in the Naturalist Center. Activities vary from animal encounters to science explorations and more, and will be available every weekend. Check the activity sign when you arrive to see what's happening. Included with Museum admission. Free for members.

Every 3rd Friday during Martinis & IMAX® from 7pm – 11pm
Monthly Salsa Dance Nights bring Salsambo Dance Studio to Martinis & IMAX®, offering incredible opportunities to enjoy Latin dancing (or appreciating the dance skills of others) with early-evening lessons for those who want a little practice before they heat up the dance floor. A special guest DJ provides the rhythmic beats. Standard Martinis & IMAX® ticket prices apply.
