In November 2007, our FUN volunteers were asked to participate in an essay contest to describe what they enjoy most about their volunteering experiences at Fernbank. All of the essays were fabulous and incredibly reinforcing for the Museum. We have such respect and admiration for all our volunteers; it is so nice to hear that they feel the same way.
The winning essay was written by 14 year-old Arseniy Avery. Arseniy has been a FUN volunteer since July 2007 and during that time has donated over 80 hours of volunteer service. Thank you and ccongratulations Arseniy!
The FUN volunteers play a vital role in the life of our Museum, so join us in recognizing their hard work. To receive information about the next application period, send an e-mail to volunteer@fernbank.edu, and we will add you to the FUN mailing list.
