Internship Opportunities

Fernbank Museum offers a variety of internships across a broad range of careers. All internships are unpaid. Each candidate must provide verification that he or she is receiving academic credit for the internship prior to beginning the assignment.

Availability: Internships are generally offered throughout the year. See specific internship descriptions for dates. Available internships are based on the needs of each department and may vary from year to year.

Qualifications: Each internship description includes a listing of specific qualifications for the position. All interns should be self-motivated, able to work individually or as part of a team, and have strong written and oral communication skills.

Time Commitment: Most internships range from 10-25 hours per week. Hours and dates of internships are determined on an individual basis between the intern and staff adviser.
