Junior Graphic Designer/Graphic Designer
Job Summary: Work under the supervision of the Design Director to concept, design and produce a wide variety of print communications and web graphics.
Major Functions:
- Concept, design and produce advertisements, logos, invitations, brochures, posters and other print materials.
- Concept and design web graphics.
- Complete research and organizational projects related to the design
function at the Museum as assigned. - Additional duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- College degree or comparable degree in graphic design
- Work experience/internship in graphic design, environmental design, web design or print production a plus
- Illustration skills a plus
Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop required
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Quark Xpress, Font Agent Pro or
Microsoft Word a plus - Creativity
- Flexibility
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Detail orientation
- Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple projects/priorities
- Self-motivated with initiative
