Junior Graphic Designer/Graphic Designer

Job Summary: Work under the supervision of the Design Director to concept, design and produce a wide variety of print communications and web graphics.

Major Functions:

  • Concept, design and produce advertisements, logos, invitations, brochures, posters and other print materials.
  • Concept and design web graphics.
  • Complete research and organizational projects related to the design
    function at the Museum as assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • College degree or comparable degree in graphic design
  • Work experience/internship in graphic design, environmental design, web design or print production a plus
  • Illustration skills a plus

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop required
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Quark Xpress, Font Agent Pro or
    Microsoft Word a plus
  • Creativity
  • Flexibility
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Detail orientation
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple projects/priorities
  • Self-motivated with initiative
