Family Fun Day welcomes spring at Fernbank Museum

Ready! Set! SPRING!
Old Man Winter is on his way out and it’s time to get ready for spring! Take a closer look at the plant and animal life that you find sprouting each spring at this new family fun day. Crafts, demonstrations and performances help get down to the “root” of the season.

Activities include:

  • Springtime plant-related crafts and games
  • The Giant, The Beanstalk, and Jack puppet show by Lee Bryan “That Puppet Guy,” 11 a.m.*
  • Ambassadors from Teaching Youth To Observe discuss spring with the help of live animals,       12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.*
  • Learn more about the state’s native flora from the Georgia Native Plant Society
  • Visit the Bio-Bus from the Georgia Sate University Biology Department
  • Count the peanuts and enter for a chance to win a prize pack
  • Appearances by the Clean Air BAIR, courtesy of The Clean Air Campaign

* Seating is limited.

Cost:
Activities are included with Museum admission. $13 for adults, $12 for students/seniors and $11 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 2 and members are free.
