What is an IMAX® film?
IMAX® films use the largest film format in the world, providing an image three to 10 times larger than standard films. Films often travel to incredible locations and include topics such as unique animals, world marvels, outer space, environmental wonders, extreme scientists, top athletes and more.

Films last about 45 minutes each. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to your film(s) start time in order to park, and pick up tickets and be seated before the film begins.

Fernbank’s Rankin M. Smith, Sr. IMAX® Theatre is a 2D theatre.
