Fernbank Museum is closed today, Thursday, November 23. We will reopen at 10am on Friday, November 24.
Come face-to-face with the world's largest dinosaurs, explore the development of life on Earth through the landscapes of present-day Georgia, connect with cultures from around the world, and more as you explore Fernbank's permanent exhibits.
Fernbank hosts special exhibits throughout the year, so there's always something new to discover. This 12,000-square-foot gallery, one of the largest in Atlanta, has been the site of superb traveling exhibits from the world's most prestigious museums, including those developed by Fernbank.
Fernbank’s NEW Giant Screen Theater provides a truly immersive experience through a state-of-the-moment 4K laser projection system with both 2D and 3D capabilities.
In addition to permanent and special exhibitions, there's still more to see and explore through these interesting features unique to Fernbank Museum.
In addition to public programming, Fernbank Museum also has an active research program focused on Georgia archaeology. Fernbank’s collections, both on and off display, reflect core natural history topics.
