The Dorothy Methvin McClatchey Collection
The Dorothy Methvin McClatchey Collection was donated to Fernbank Museum by Dorothy and Devereaux McClatchey. The collection consists of over 500 objects of personal ornamentation and decorative arts representing the diverse cultures of the world. The largest percentage of the collection comes from Central and Southeast Asia, but a small number of objects were derived from North America, Africa, Europe and Melanesia.
