Museum Store Information
Continue your Fernbank experience with something from the Museum Store. We have a variety of fun and educational items: dinosaur erasers, fossils, magnifiers, magnets, prisms and more. The Museum Store also offers a wide selection for educators, such as posters, science books and kits.
To streamline the shopping experience, we request that every 10 students be accompanied by a chaperone, with a maximum of 30 students in the Museum Store at one time. Students should exit the store after making a purchase.
If time does not permit a visit to the store, pre-purchase Nature Packs appropriate for pre-K through elementary at a cost of $3 per pack (plus 7% tax). To order packs for your students, download an order form from our Web site and fax to 404.929.6405 at least three weeks prior to your scheduled visit.

There are two options for enjoying lunch at Fernbank:
Bring Your Own: Lunches can be stored under the staircases in the Great Hall or on the buses. For safety reasons, please use the elevator to transport your food.
Sack Lunch: Pre-order affordably-priced sack lunches.* Simply download an order form from our Web site and fax it to 404.929.6405 at least three weeks prior to your scheduled visit. Lunches are $5 (plus 7% tax).
Whichever option you choose, you may enjoy lunch in the Great Hall, on the Terrace or on the Front Lawn. We ask that you do NOT eat on the steps inside or outside the Museum or on the dinosaur exhibition, near the pond or in The Fernbank Café. Due to space limitations, school groups are not allowed in The Fernbank Café. There are no exceptions to this policy, and we appreciate your cooperation.
*Fernbank Museum can cater up to 500 sack lunches per day. If the maximum number of lunches has been sold when you make reservations, students will need to bring lunch. To pick up pre-ordered sack lunches, report to The Fernbank Café. Lunches will be delivered to you in the Great Hall where chaperones are responsible for distributing lunches to the students.
If upon arrival you find that you have forgotten your lunches and have not made prior arrangements, please speak with the On-site Coordinator about the emergency lunch option.
