Helpful Hints
- When scheduling your field trip, take into account the time needed to travel to the Museum and allow 30 minutes for check-in prior to the start of your first activity.
- Be sure to check on-site school program descriptions for day and time availability.
- If planning to see an IMAX® film, keep in mind that most films are approximately 45 minutes long and you must be on time.
- We suggest you schedule field trips early in the week (Monday – Wednesday). This will give your students more time and space to explore, as Thursdays and Fridays are typically our busiest days.
- We recommend scheduling your field trip as far in advance as possible. Some days do sell out.
- When calling to schedule your trip, please have four different dates in mind.
- Be sure to download a Field Trip Resource Guide. It has everything you’ll need to make your field trip a success, such as check-in instructions, important information for chaperones, Museum floor plans, lunch and Nature Pack order forms and more.
- Final payment and total number in your group is required at check-in.
