Lizards, turtles and salamanders—oh my!

Get up-close and personal with a variety of live reptiles. Don’t miss this opportunity to interact with and learn more about these unique and ecologically-important creatures during this popular annual event.

LIVE Reptile Displays*
10am – 2pm, Great Hall
Come face to face with table after table of live reptiles and amphibians. The Georgia Herpetological Society, Zoo Atlanta, My Reptile Guys, and Fernbank Museum Educators will be on hand to answer questions and educate guests about the importance of these unique animals. See a large variety of animals including pythons, king snakes, geckos, tortoises, monitors, iguanas, and many more!

*Limited opportunities to touch for those 4 and older will be available at various tables at the discretion of the handlers.

Alligator Hat Craft
10am – 2pm, Great Hall
Show your reptilian style! Make your own alligator hat to take home with you and meet a real live baby alligator.

Remarkable Reptiles
11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, Auditorium
Fernbank educators will feature some of the ‘stars’ from Fernbank Museum’s live animal collection in these special presentations. (Limited seating.)
