Fright Night

Friday, October 26 from 6:30pm – 11pm

Get ready to eat, drink and be spooky! It’s that time of year when Fernbank’s Martinis & IMAX® becomes possessed by the Halloween spirit for the annual adult Halloween party Fright Night.

We’ve been working hard in the lab and can tell you that Dr. Frankenstein himself couldn’t have created a more monstrous party!

Here are some of the tricks and treats:

Live music by Frankenfunk

Special “screamings” of the horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street at 8pm and 10pm

A frighteningly fun costume contest

Devilishly-delicious drink menu featuring $5 SVEDKA cocktails

Enough fun to wake the dead

Tickets start at $7 for general event admission and are as follows:

  • Cover only: $7 for non-members, free for members
  • Cover and admission to Nightmare on Elm Street: $8 for non-members and members
  • Cover and IMAX®:  $12 for adults, $11 for students and seniors and $7 for members

About the Band

Frankenfunk is an electrifying 5-piece dance band that was brought to life during a horrific lightning storm in Geneva, where they were promptly chased from town to town by villagers carrying torches and chanting “one more song.” Live music starts at 7:30pm. Be sure to tighten you neck bolts, or you will definitely dance them loose!

About the Movie

No fancy-schmancy remake, we are bringing back the 1984 classic slasher film starring Robert Englund! This special presentation of A Nightmare on Elm Street will be featured in Fernbank’s auditorium and will not be in IMAX® format. But for the faint of heart, our regularly-scheduled IMAX® line-up will be available.

Costume Contest

You must register for the costume contest in advance. Registration is open 7pm – 9:30pm. Winners will be announced at 9:45pm.
