Martinis & IMAX® is taking you on an Island Adventure. Join “ship’s captain” Big Mike Geier and his crew from Tongo Hiti for a jolly jaunt featuring:

Live music by Tongo Hiti, the ultimate tiki band

Performances and hula lessons by The Dames Aflame

Screenings of the film that inspired the evening, Galapagos, in the IMAX® Theatre

Evening viewing hours for the special exhibition Darwin

A special Darwin Dress Up photo booth

Full bar featuring themed cocktails, including a Galapagos Gimlet

And a special appearance by legendary simian-sapien MonkeyZuma.

Ticket prices for this special event are:

Cover charge (general event admission only): $7 for non-members and free for members
General event admission and admission to Darwin: $10 for non-members and
free for members
Martinis & IMAX® film ticket: $12 for adults and $7 for non-members
Combo tickets (includes general event admission, Darwin admission and 1 film ticket): $15 for non-members and $7 for members

About Tongo Hiti
Performing from 6:30pm-11pm
Known for their lush Exotica music with instrumentation including vibraphone, steel drum, pedal steel and ukulele, the band also sails adventurously into AM Gold territory and even twists contemporary pop tunes into molten metal.

About Galapagos
Showing at 7pm and 9pm
Journey deep into the largely unknown waters surrounding the volcanic archipelago of the Galapagos Islands to explore the natural wonders of a realm that is truly a living natural science laboratory.

Set a course for adventure as you enjoy a unique look into the life of one of the world’s most intriguing scientists. This special exhibition features live animals, amazing fossils and an array of scientific tools used by Charles Darwin.
