Lost Oasis 2014: South Pacific Soirée

Honoring Lesley and Trey Wainwright

More than 350 people partied in paradise at this year’s Lost Oasis event held June 14, 2014 at Fernbank Museum. Hosted by the Artemis Guild of young professionals, the event raised nearly $200,000 to benefit children’s educational programming at the Museum. The evening honored Lesley and Trey Wainwright for their incredible service to the Museum and long history of support.

Drawing inspiration from the special exhibition Whales: Giants of the Deep, guests of Lost Oasis 2014: South Pacific Soirée came ready for a summer party dressed in tropical prints and bright colors. The event kicked off with a VIP hour on the Fernbank Forest Overlook. Guests enjoyed incredible food by A Divine Event, specialty cocktails, and fabulous entertainment by Kingsized. The dessert room provided the perfect spot to grab some sweets and an opportunity to win a highly coveted bottle of wine in the Lost Oasis Wine Cellar. Throughout the night, attendees bid on more than 150 items in the spectacular silent auction. Items included a getaway to Bora Bora and a Big Green Egg.
