Fernbank Forest Guided Tour

Enjoy the great outdoors with Fernbank Museum educators on a guided tour of Fernbank Forest. Learn more about the character and importance of Georgia’s Piedmont old-growth forests while gaining a better understanding of forest maintenance and issues related to invasive plant species. This program offers a unique opportunity to become familiar with the interconnected parts of an ecosystem, such as botany, ecology, geology, zoology and others. This program is suitable for ages 12 and up and lasts approximately 2 hours.
