Fernbank Forest Guided Tour

Enjoy the great outdoors with Fernbank Museum scientists on a guided tour of Fernbank Forest. Learn more about the character and importance of Georgia’s Piedmont old-growth forests while gaining a better understanding of forest maintenance and issues related to invasive plant species.

Fernbank Forest Guided Tours offer a unique opportunity to become familiar with the interconnected parts of an ecosystem, such as botany, ecology, geology, zoology and others. This program is suitable for ages 8 and up and lasts approximately 2 hours.
