Fernbank Supporters Set Sail for a Timeless Voyage at Annual Gala
On Saturday, October 1, Fernbank Museum of Natural History hosted its signature benefit gala, Beautiful Voyages: A Timeless Affair 2011. Chaired by Ryan Smith Dunlap and Sam Dunlap and Missy Means Madden and Patrick Madden, A Timeless Affair celebrated the longtime support of dynamic sisters, Joyce Lanier Milner Sterling and Carol Lanier Goodman.

With the generous support of the Atlanta community and a stellar Planning Committee, Fernbank raised over a half-million dollars to further its educational mission through community-driven, family-friendly exhibitions, IMAX® films and programs that foster an appreciation for the planet and its people. More than 400 guests attended this unforgettable evening that included a seated dinner, live auction, dancing and a private viewing of the special exhibition, Darwin.

Next year’s A Timeless Affair will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
