On Saturday, October 6, Fernbank Museum commemorated its 20th Anniversary with the signature gala, A Timeless Affair 2012: Genghis Khan—The Emperor's Feast.  Through the tremendous efforts of our stellar Planning Committee, lead by Melissa and Craig Allen and Ashley and Prescott Miller, this year's benefit was the most successful since the Museum's opening two decades ago, raising nearly $600,000 to fuel the minds of all ages through world-class science and cultural programming.

We are deeply grateful to the more than 450 guests who joined us for this magical evening honoring Mrs. Frances "Duffie" DuBose and her family for their support of Fernbank's archeological collections and field research and children's exhibition.  Guests enjoyed a delectable 3-course dinner, silent and live auctions, dancing and a private viewing of the special exhibition, Genghis Khan.
